ISO 9001 Certification Process
The certification process at Imperium Certific complies with ISO/IEC 17021-1 and NAAU accreditation requirements.
Stage 1 — Application and Preliminary Review — The organization submits a certification application. We analyze the scope of activities, number of employees, locations and process complexity to determine the audit scope and duration in accordance with IAF MD 5 guidance.
Stage 2 — Stage 1 Audit (Documentation Review) — QMS readiness assessment: review of quality policy, objectives, organizational context, process approach, risk assessment and internal audit results. Readiness for the Stage 2 audit is determined.
Stage 3 — Stage 2 Audit (On-site) — The audit team verifies practical QMS functioning: process execution, performance monitoring, nonconformity management, customer feedback, staff competence and documented information management.
Stage 4 — Certification Decision — An audit report is prepared. The certification decision is made independently from the audit team, ensuring impartiality.
Stage 5 — Certificate Issuance — The ISO 9001 certificate is issued for a 3-year period. Certification information is entered into the Imperium Certific registry.
Stage 6 — Surveillance Audits — Annual surveillance audits confirm continued QMS functioning and improvement. A recertification audit is conducted before the certificate expires.
